I’ll be your main host, Khadiravan, although there’ll be some special guests too as we move along. I’m interested in human nature and through studying yoga psychology I’ve discovered a fascinating world of insights into it. Let’s get together and talk about it!
A few words of inspiration to describe what it’s all about:
Ancient yoga texts of India reveal a deep and detailed understanding of human psychology, facilitating the emancipation of the original personality from multiple conditionings. We need to discover who we truly are, beyond induced convictions, acquired identities and false behavioural models that limit our potential and our deepest aspirations.
Yoga psychology – in knowledge and practice – aims at reactivating and cultivating within each individual the essential strength and introspective talents, the powers of self knowledge and self transformation that lay dormant within. Then we can walk in greater harmony with ourselves, others and our environment.

Every Thursday at 6pm Gaura Yoga runs a brilliant Bhagavad-gita workshop where the information contained in the timeless Bhagavad-gita is discussed by our expert teachers. The weekly workshops are open to anyone who has a keen interest in developing a broader understanding of life or searching for big answers to the big questions.
The Bhagavad-gita is no mere book, in fact it is an ancient yoga text that dates back over 5000 years. It hails from the worlds oldest and most advanced civilization: Ancient India. Written long ago in the elegant Sanskrit language, it has been translated expertly into English by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the world’s most preeminent scholar of Vedic literature in modern times. The teachings of the Bhagavad-gita cover all aspects of both spiritual and material knowledge. Its origin is a time long ago, a time of profound scientific spiritual wisdom.
The captivating workshops offer an opportunity to delve deeper into the ocean of wisdom contained in the Bhagavad-gita and relate life experiences to what is written in the ancient Krishna texts. With the open discussion style of the workshop you will have the opportunity to learn how you can apply these teachings to specific life issues – get a fresh perspective on how to deal with even the most difficult challenges.
Many aspects of life, from the simple frustrations we all face through to a deeper understanding of the great mysteries of existence, are addressed in the Bhagavad-gita workshops. Please come along with an open mind and an inquisitive spirit and you will not be disappointed. We look forward to meeting you!
